Happy Tuesday! As I’m spending more and more time at home, and more and more time indoors with this weather – I’m longing for some more greens in my space. Ever since we moved into our light-filled home, I’ve gotten more and more into plants. Houseplants and gardening alike. Not gonna lie, I am a brown-ish thumb kinda girl. I’ve kept succulents alive for multiple years, but other than that most everything I had tried prior to this home died after a few painful months. For plant and owner alike.
But now, I have a small collection of succulents, an aloe, a fiddle leaf fig and another ficus like tree that are
thriving alive after 1+ years. So I’ll call that a success! I’m wanting to grow my plant family even more. Not only are the green lovelies beautiful to look at, they’re also amazing for cleaning the air in our home and keeping it fresh and calm. Kind of eyeing a hanging string of pearls, a spider plant for my bathroom and a monstera for the dining room.
Bathrooms…an unexpected place for a plant. Love the softness of the greenery in both of these above rooms and the feel of showering in nature. Am about to embark on a small bathroom re-do and maybe upping the green factor in there once it’s complete.
I mean…really. Plants, plants everywhere. I think I might have a new obsession.
