Weekend Links: Almost Fall

Helloooo Friday!  I love me a short week, but man, are they ever tiring?  Trying to cram 5 days into 4 makes for a fun week.

The cooler Dallas weather has given me the fall bug and I’ve become a bit obsessed with redecorating my home + my wardrobe in my head.  On my fictional shopping list:

Velvet EVERYTHING for interiors.  Especially this jewel toned sofa, these tasseled pillows, and these dusty blush drapes.

gaga for these Gucci flats.

Luscious leopard flats.  From the ridiculous to the totally gonna-do-it.

oh-so-cute in camel. via goop.

Camel sweaters.  My camel cashmere staple of the past 4 years, bit the dust and has me on the hunt for a replacement. These caught my eye:  as ridiculously cute as it is priced, to the still cray – but slightly closer to reality. Wondering if  this blushing beauty might be as wearable as my trusty camel, $59.50!!!

Stumbled across this site + sign-up and couldn’t wait to share it with you!  I follow Sydney on her site The Daybook and can’t wait to see what she does with her new site.  In the meantime, scoop up her free resource guide to start living intuitively.  If I love all of her recommendations as much as I do her writing and captivating story-style, I’ll be a happy, connected super-in-touch with my intuition girlie.

Loving this week’s dress your tech freebies designed by artbymegan for Design Love Fest.  My laptop loves the lilac sky…

If I were a baker, this would be on my weekend agenda.

Marking my calendar now for Smitten Kitchen’s book release + tour date!  I make something from her book or blog at least monthly, looking forward to this.

So inspired to see our nation’s response to the gut-wrenching disasters plaguing our country.  Especially love seeing our five living former American Presidents come together to create One America Appeal to help victims and recovery efforts.  It’s comforting to see leaders vow to create good in the world, setting aside their party lines and differences of opinion to take care of our people.  Sending love, thoughts, and my fall shopping money instead to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, the fires in the Northwest and keeping an eye on Irma.

Hope you and your loved ones stay safe this weekend!
