Weekend Links: Happy July!

Is there anything MORE summer than the 4th of July?  Fireworks, cook-outs, picnics, lazy days of summer.  Sofia and I are headed to Montana next week for a mid-summer break to hike, yoga, create, build, hang with family + friends and explore.

Looking forward to sipping my morning habit a bit slower on my vacation.  And super obsessed with Blue Bottle coffee, my new favorite cup o’ joe.  Is it me, or is there something about vacation coffee that just always tastes better?

The SFMOMA left me super inspired last week.  Color and art speak to me in ways that my soul feels it needs to respond!  I got to see so many of my favorite artists, in such a beautiful setting.

Which is good since I stocked up on some new art supplies at Case for Making while in the city.  My two favorite purchases are these scissors and this limited edition malachite paint.  What a great store!  Be sure to check out their subscription service if you know a devoted painter in need of a shot of inspiration.

If I get my hands on some fresh peaches next week, I’m looking forward to baking this.

A few of my favorite articles from around the web this week:

Love this post on how to foster creativity at work.  Do-able and definitely worth trying!

Emily Henderson is the queen of comprehensive guides to interior design…this one on achieving ‘effortless expensive’ style furniture is too good to miss.

The best oils to help curb anxiety…breathe.

I need to up my workout game, this looks like a butt-kicker.

Honestly WTF’s coverage of the Carven Resort collection has me lusting, hard.

Happy Friday!  Happy Holiday Weekend!  Happy 4th of July!
